Priortization of Waste/by-product Streams

We used a deviation support framework to guide information gathering and prioritization of many of such waste streams from the mineral industry. The high-ranking waste streams then became the focus of the R&D team for further evaluation of research potential, and for some materials conceptual ”zero waste” flow sheets were developed and evaluated through test work and LCA analysis. Perhaps a similar approach could be adopted by XPrize team and with support of the industry gather new ideas and approach from R&D teams.

Thank you @Sharif! (Is it possible if you could also post this here as a comment? It'd be awesome to have it all in the same thread!) That sounds like a potentially valuable approach - those conceptual flow sheets seem really interesting!
