Hello everyone! I wanted to populate this thread with some statistics to put our discussion into perspective. When we say aging, we mean the burden of age-related diseases first of all, right? So what exactly is this burden in terms of numbers of death caused by them.

One of the arguments we've had is whether or not old age should be considered a disease. One can make the argument that aging is really the root cause of many non-communicable diseases, right?
