A new academy for lifespan extension

This is not your run-of-the-mill innovation for treating aging, but it's definitely still newsworthy. Sixteen of the world's top longevity researchers have founded their own academy in Boston. The new institute is called Academy for Health and Lifespan Research, and will host international forums on the subject of lifespan research, as well as lobby governments to come up with funding that will help develop and approve anti-aging treatments.
