Which science fiction books / movies best describe the future of work?
Personally, I like Walkaway and Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, both by Cory Doctorow, and both describe a world in which people don't really have jobs anymore.

It's a future in which people don't work anymore because they have to, but because they want to - to improve themselves and all of humanity.
In general, I think dystopian cyberpunk fiction is too pessimistic, but I'm an optimist.
