This prize would challenge teams to create a shared online platform that will enable online unionization and coordination, ultimately leading to better working conditions and benefits. This platform would reduce the incidence of “hire-and-fire” practices, and instead incentivize employers to upskill their workers. Moreover, vulnerable workers would gain information and support about their rights, along with job training assistance.

@mescobar, @gcaretti, @dr2tom, I'm curious what you think about this idea for a prize competition. Do you think this is something we should pursue? Would it make a significant impact for low-wage and low-skill workers? Is it feasible?

I think the idea of unionization, though beneficial for workers, might fail to get adopted by corporates. Still, working exploring though.
